Saudi Arabia Hosts Energy Summit

In the world of oil and politics Saudi Arabia is the King to whom the rest of the world bows. At the recently concluded energy summit the Arabian Kings graciously announced they would increase oil production to 9.7 million barrels per day to help alleviate the current high price of crude oil.

The question is did they say it with a straight face?

The answer is, of course they did.

As I said they are rich and smart.

Let's do some math. 9.7 million barrels of crude oil per day times $135 per barrel is $1,309,500,000 in revenue per day.

Now for the advanced math, $1,309,500,000 times 365 days is $477,967,500,000.

478 billion dollars per year.

At the end of the "summit" the Saudis pat the Americans, Japanese, and British on the head and send them home.

Wouldn't you, if you were rich and smart?

:-?

well well well....things have become a bit dusty around here....so here's sweeping away the dust a little bit....hmm it's been about 2 months and a half since i last blogged..pardon my grammar...the i should have been I..and I am sure you can point out a few more mistakes as well...not that it matters a lot in the world of blogs..but anyways just putting thoughts to the keyboard as they pop..

well, as the title suggests, these are confusing times..OJ Simpson cannot decide whether the prison is more comfortable than his mansion , Indian cricket tour of Australia survived a roller coaster (no one knowing what's happening out there, as of now, the ODI series is still doubtful) and in Tennis, the Australian open is up and running..Hmm...yes folks, the Australian open fits into the confusion as well...You must be confused by now, I did say that these are confusing times......

The reason the Ozzie open fits in there is I do not know why you the spectator, should be subjected to a 20 day event, with 127 players attempting to win the crown and making you the spectator a fool in the process...Yes I did say 127, and I left out deliberately The One--Fedex...

Why I ask do we have to wait for 20 more days when Mr.Fedex will surely win the crown? why not crown him now and get it over with?
